Norfolk’s annual Lemonade Camp, hosted by McMill CPAs & Advisors, Retirement Plan Consultants and Wealth Management, was a success again in 2025! Lemonade Camp has been held annually since 2011. The camp invites kids to come learn business basics and apply those lessons to their own business, a lemonade stand! All money raised at Lemonade Camp is always donated back to the community.
Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, over 75 young entrepreneurs gathered to spend the day learning business skills, running their own lemonade stand and having fun! The campers raised over $650 to be donated to the Norfolk Fire Department’s Junior Fire Fund. 🚒🍋

Lemonade Camp – August 6, 2024
Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, approximately 70 kids gathered at the McMill Building in Norfolk, Nebraska for Lemonade Camp! Lemonade Camp has been held annually since 2011. The camp invites kids to come learn business basics and apply those lessons to their own business, a lemonade stand! All money raised at Lemonade Camp is always donated back to the community. With the funds raised this year, we will be purchasing and installing a Little Free Library at Liberty Bell Park in Norfolk, Nebraska. The camp is sponsored by three local businesses, McMill CPAs & Advisors, Retirement Plan Consultants and Wealth Management.

Lemonade Camp 2023
We had an awesome Lemonade Camp this year hosted in Downtown Norfolk on August 1st, 2023. Campers raised $619 for the Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska.
Stuff the Bus
In July 2023, McMill employees donated school supplies to the Salvation Army’s Stuff the Bus event. This event supplied students with new backpacks and basic school supplies. For more information on this annual event, please call the Salvation Army at 402-379-4663.
Christmas in July!
We held a 🎄“Christmas in July”🎄 toy drive and challenged our staff to collect as many toys as we could for pediatric patients at Faith Regional. The generosity of our employees and their families was clearly displayed as we were able to donate over 300 toys! Thanks to our employees and their families for supporting the community that we love! 🥰 We hope this will brighten the day for many young patients! 🧸🪀

Our largest camp yet, 80 kids attended! Campers raised $955 for the Norfolk Library Foundation!
Lemonade Camp 2021
McMill CPAs & Advisors hosted 1st-6th grade children in August 2021 to discover how to be an entrepreneur by learning how to start and run their own business – a lemonade stand. Nearly 60 campers were able to raise $798 for the Norfolk Arts Center!
Dave Ramsey – Taxes Education
At McMill CPAs and Advisors, we love being able to help educate our community. One way we do this is through sponsoring and presenting at Dave Ramsey events. These events are aimed at helping students learn wise money habits early on.
On 4/26/19 our very own Andrew Steffensmeier took to the stage to discuss insurance and taxes at Norfolk Catholic High School. In this presentation, Andrew reviewed:
- Where your tax dollars are being spent
- What the different types of taxes are
- The basics of insurance
